Four City Conference teams could be playing come March

Prep sceneBy March there could be three teams from the Minneapolis City Conference and one from the St. Paul City Conference representing at the state boys’ basketball tournament while being led by some of the state’s top players.

 

Prepscenecollage.jpgSt. Paul Johnson, ranked No. 2 in Class 3A, is led by point guard Jalen Mobley’s 17.5 points per game. Tyler Johnson leads Minneapolis North, ranked No. 2 in Class 1A, contributing 16.1 per contest.

Arione Farrar Jr. has led Minneapolis Roosevelt to a No. 4 ranking in Class 2A averaging 19.1 points per game. Evan Shepherd of Minneapolis Washburn, No. 7 in 3A, leads the Millers with a 17.7 average.
